Introduction to Visual Design: Color, Type, and Composition

Description

During this class, students will learn the basics and fundamentals of visual interface design. Students will explore the relationship between color, typography, and composition, and will investigate the relationship between various visual styles and web/mobile sites and conventions. At the end of this class, students will have a basic understanding of visual design principles, and will have gained competency in adding a visual aesthetic and emotion to in-progress interaction designs. Students will acquire Photoshop templates suitable for re-use.
