My buddy Ellis has a 1975 CB 750 that he's been working on getting into fighting shape. He's putting some new pipes on it, and is going to have to re-jet the carbs.
I've done this on 2 Kawasaki's, and done carb re-builds on a handful of other bikes so it should be pretty straight forward. The basic steps will include:
1. Carb removal
2. Carb cleaning and basic re-build
3. Re-Jet
4. Re-assembly and adjustment of cables and hoses
5. Balancing the Carbs
6. Burnouts
Looking forward to it... (note: the bike pictured above is not the bike we're working on -same year and model - but if it was mine it's just about the way I'd want it to look, minus a flat black paint job of course!)
That bike in the image is a straight up stunner. Alex, I just found the group. Anyone having an open wrench night/ Session anytime soon? I would have really enjoyed getting these skill sets. Carbs seem to be a big issue.
